ABB FPTN372726R1006 – WB75-A is a mechanical latching unit designed to convert a compatible standard ABB contactor into a mechanically latched contactor. Once the contactor has closed, the WB75-A mechanical mechanism keeps it in the closed position even if the supply voltage at the contactor coil is removed or lost. This R1006 version has a rated control-circuit voltage of 220–230 V at 50 Hz or DC, and 220–255 V at 60 Hz. ABB specifies approximately 60 VA average holding consumption and 90 VA average pull-in consumption for the unit.

Typical applications include MCC panels, lighting control, industrial machinery, power distribution switching, process control and circuits where the contactor must remain closed without continuous energization of the main contactor coil.
