ABB FPTN372726R1001 – WB75-A is a mechanical latching unit designed for compatible ABB contactors. Once the contactor has closed, the WB75-A mechanically holds the contactor in the closed position even if the supply voltage at the main contactor coil is removed or fails. This makes it useful in applications where the contactor must remain mechanically latched without continuous coil energization. The latched contactor can be released in two ways: electrically, by applying a short AC or DC impulse to the WB75-A unlatching coil, or manually, using the pushbutton provided on the front of the latching unit.
