ABB 1SAZ331201R2004 TA80DU-52M Thermal Overload Relay is an electromechanical motor-protection device designed to provide reliable and fast protection for electric motors against overload and phase-failure conditions. Its adjustable current setting range of 36 A to 52 A allows the overload protection level to be matched accurately to the motor’s rated full-load current. The relay operates with Trip Class 10A, making it suitable for motors with normal starting characteristics. The TA80DU-52M is designed for direct connection to compatible ABB block contactors, creating a compact motor starter assembly. It includes useful motor-protection features such as temperature compensation, trip-free mechanism, STOP function, TEST function, visible trip indication, and selectable automatic or manual reset. ABB also provides a separate DB80 single-mounting kit where standalone installation is required.
