ABB 1SAZ311201R2001 TA42DU-25M Thermal Overload Relay is a three-pole electromechanical motor-protection device designed to protect electric motors against overload and phase-failure conditions. Its adjustable thermal setting range of 18 A to 25 A allows the relay to be matched accurately to the motor’s rated full-load current. The unit operates with Trip Class 10A, making it suitable for motors with normal starting characteristics. The TA42DU-25M is designed for direct connection to ABB block contactors, creating a compact motor-starter assembly. ABB specifies temperature compensation, trip-free operation, STOP and TEST functions, trip indication, and selectable manual or automatic reset. It incorporates one normally closed trip contact (1NC) and one normally open signal contact (1NO) for contactor control, fault indication, alarms and PLC feedback.
