ABB 1SFA896204R7000 PSRC6-600-70 Soft starter is a compact compressor soft starter from ABB’s PSRC series, designed especially for scroll compressor and HVAC/refrigeration applications. It operates on a 208–600 V AC main circuit and uses a 100–240 V AC, 50/60 Hz control supply. The PSRC6-600-70 provides controlled motor starting using ABB’s two-phase soft-start technology, helping reduce starting current, torque shock, mechanical stress, compressor wear, and electrical disturbances. It also incorporates a built-in bypass contactor, which reduces heat generation and power losses after the compressor reaches normal running speed.
