ABB 1SAT144000R1011 HF9-R-24VDC Electronic Compact Starter is a compact reversing electronic motor starter from ABB’s HF series, designed for forward and reverse operation of three-phase motors and for switching non-resistive loads. This exact model uses a 24 V DC control supply, supports a main operational voltage range of approximately 42–550 V AC, and is rated for 3 kW motor power under AC-53a duty. A key distinction is that the HF9-R does not include electronic overload protection or a current-setting range. It is the basic reversing version of ABB’s HF family. It provides reversing motor control in a very compact 22.5 mm wide housing, making it suitable where forward/reverse switching is required but overload protection is provided separately.
