ABB 1SFA896112R1100 PSR60-600-11 Soft starter is a compact 60 A three-phase soft starter from ABB’s PSR series, designed for controlled starting and stopping of AC induction motors. It operates on a 208–600 V AC main circuit and uses a 24 V AC/DC control supply. ABB lists this model for 30 kW / 40 HP motor applications. The PSR60-600-11 uses two-phase voltage-ramp control for soft start and soft stop, helping reduce starting torque, mechanical shock and electrical stress compared with direct-on-line starting. It includes a built-in bypass, which reduces heat generation and energy loss once the motor reaches normal operating speed.
