ABB 1SAT145000R1011 HF9-ROL-24VDC Electronic Compact Starter is a compact reversing motor starter with integrated electronic overload protection from ABB’s HF series. It is designed for forward and reverse operation of three-phase motors as well as switching non-resistive loads. ABB specifies this exact model with a 1.5–9 A adjustable current range, 24 V DC control supply, and motor applications up to 3 kW at 400 V. The HF9-ROL combines contactor and overload-relay functions in a single 22.5 mm wide device, helping reduce panel space, wiring time, and potential wiring faults. It provides electronic overload protection, Trip Class 10A, phase-loss sensitivity, and protection across all three motor poles. This ROL version supports both forward and reverse motor operation. ABB also offers separate ROLE variants with an emergency-stop safety function, so this standard ROL model should not be confused with the safety version.
