ABB 1SAT142000R1011 HF9-DOL-24VDC Electronic Compact Starter is a compact direct-on-line (DOL) motor starter with integrated electronic overload protection from ABB’s HF series. It is designed for three-phase motor starting and switching of non-resistive loads while reducing panel space and wiring complexity by combining contactor and overload-relay functions in a single device. ABB specifies an adjustable motor-current range of 1.5–9 A with a 24 V DC control supply. The starter is rated for 3 kW AC-53a motor duty, with 6.5 A rated operational current under AC-53a, 9 A AC-51 current, and 9 A uninterrupted current. It supports a main operational voltage range of approximately 42–550 V AC, with a 500 V AC rated main-circuit voltage and 50/60 Hz operation. The integrated motor protection is electronic, Trip Class 10A, with phase-loss sensitivity across all three protected poles. The HF9-DOL also offers IP20 protection, screw terminals, 35 mm DIN-rail mounting, and a very narrow 22.5 mm width, making it suitable for compact MCCs, OEM machinery, conveyors, packaging systems, pumps, fans, and industrial automation panels.
