1SYN242322R3800

ABB 1SYN242322R3800 (SDA-15) is a fully automatic Star-Delta motor starter designed for controlled starting of 15 HP / 11 kW three-phase induction motors. This version uses a 220–230 V AC control coil and is intended for industrial motor applications operating around 415 V AC, 50 Hz. During startup, the motor windings are initially connected in star configuration, which helps reduce starting current compared with Direct-On-Line starting. After the preset transition time, the starter automatically switches the motor to delta configuration for normal running. Typical applications include pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, conveyors, HVAC systems, machine tools and industrial process equipment.
