ABB 1SAM350000R1005 (MS132-1.0) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also known as a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), used for manual switching, isolation and protection of electric motors. It provides an adjustable thermal setting range of 0.63 to 1.0 A, rated operational current of 1 A, and trip class 10. The starter protects motors against short circuits, overloads and phase failures and provides a rated service short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 400 V AC. It also includes a built-in disconnect function, temperature compensation, trip-free mechanism and a lockable rotary handle with clear switch-position indication. The MS132-1.0 is suitable for both single-phase and three-phase applications, uses screw terminals, supports DIN-rail mounting, and is associated with motor ratings around 0.25 kW depending on supply voltage.
