ABB 1SAM340000R1011, model MS132-16T, is a compact 3-pole circuit breaker developed for primary-side transformer protection. It provides overload and short-circuit protection in one device and is intended for use with control transformers in industrial panels, automation systems, machinery and OEM applications. The MS132-16T has an adjustable current setting range of approximately 10–16 A and a rated operational current of 16 A. Its magnetic short-circuit release is set high enough to withstand transformer inrush current during energization while still providing fast protection during severe short-circuit conditions.
