ABB 1SAM340000R1008, model MS132-4.0T, is a compact 3-pole circuit breaker designed for primary-side transformer protection. It provides fuse less overload and short-circuit protection for control transformers used in industrial control panels, automation systems, machine control applications and OEM equipment. The MS132-4.0T has an adjustable current setting range of approximately 2.5–4.0 A with a rated operational current of 4.0 A. Its magnetic short-circuit trip is set higher than a conventional motor-protection breaker so it can better withstand the inrush current that occurs when transformers are energized.
