ABB 1SAM340000R1013, model MS132-20T, is a compact 3-pole circuit breaker specially designed for primary-side protection of control transformers. It provides fuse less overload and short-circuit protection and allows manual connection and disconnection of the transformer through its built-in isolating function. The MS132-20T has an adjustable current setting range of 16–20 A and a rated operational current of 20 A. Its short-circuit magnetic release is fixed at approximately 20 times the rated operational current, or about 400 A, helping the breaker tolerate the high inrush current generated when transformers are energized. It provides Trip Class 10 protection and a rated service short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 400 V AC.
