It combines overload protection and short-circuit protection in a single device, helping protect control transformers used in industrial panels, machinery, automation systems and OEM applications. ABB lists this model with an adjustable current setting range of 0.40–0.63 A. The MS132-0.63T features Trip Class 10 overload protection and a fixed instantaneous short-circuit trip of 12.6 A, approximately 20 times the rated operational current. This higher magnetic trip level is intended to accommodate the high inrush current that transformers can draw when energized.
