The ABB AF400-30-11-68 Contactor, Part No. 1SFL577001R6811, is a heavy-duty 3-phase, 3-pole power contactor intended for demanding industrial motor-control and high-current switching applications. It uses ABB’s AF electronic coil technology with a 24–60 V DC control-voltage range. ABB’s AF design also incorporates built-in surge suppression and supports additional side-mounted auxiliary contacts and accessories.

The contactor has 3 normally-open main contacts together with 1 NO + 1 NC auxiliary contacts. ABB rates the AF400 platform for approximately 200 kW at 380/400 V, 220 kW at 415 V and 440 V, 250 kW at 500 V, and 315 kW at 690 V in AC-3 motor applications. The conventional free-air thermal current is 600 A, while UL/CSA general-use rating is 550 A at 600 V AC.
