The ABB AF38-22-00-13 Contactor, Part No. 1SBL297501R1300, is a compact 4-pole power contactor designed primarily for controlling non-inductive or slightly inductive loads such as resistance furnaces, heater circuits, HVAC loads, lighting systems, OEM machinery, industrial automation panels, and general-purpose power switching. Its 2 normally-open + 2 normally-closed main pole arrangement is useful where both NO and NC power switching functions are required in one contactor.

For AC-1 general switching duty, ABB rates this model at 55 A at 690 V and 40°C, reducing to 45 A at 60°C and 37 A at 70°C. For AC-3 motor duty, it is rated at 22 A at 380/400 V, corresponding to 11 kW at 400 V.
