ABB 1SAM201910R1004 AA1-400 is a high-voltage shunt trip accessory intended for remote electrical tripping of ABB manual motor starters and motor protection circuit breakers. The unit is side-mounted and operates from a 380–440 V AC control supply. When the control voltage is applied, the AA1-400 actuates the trip mechanism of the connected motor starter, allowing remote disconnection from an emergency-stop station, safety circuit, interlock or automated control system. It is commonly used in MCC panels, industrial machinery, motor-control panels, process automation systems and electrical switchboards where remote tripping of an ABB MPCB is required.
