ABB 1SAM201910R1001 AA1-24 is a 20–24 V shunt trip release designed as a side-mounted accessory for ABB MS116, MS132 and MO132 manual motor starters. When its control coil receives the specified voltage, the AA1-24 mechanically trips the connected motor protection device, enabling remote shutdown from emergency-stop circuits, PLC outputs, interlocking systems or other external control circuits. It is widely used in MCC panels, industrial machinery, motor control panels and automation systems where remote electrical tripping of an MPCB is required.
