The ABB AF09-40-00-13 Contactor, Part No. 1SBL137201R1300, is a compact 4-pole power contactor with 4 normally-open main contacts. It uses ABB’s AF electronic coil technology, allowing operation over a wide 100–250 V AC/DC control-voltage range. ABB’s AF design can accommodate significant control-voltage variation and includes built-in surge protection.

This contactor is primarily designed for AC-1 switching duties, including resistance heaters, furnaces, lighting circuits, HVAC auxiliary loads, distribution switching, OEM machinery, and general industrial power-control circuits. It is rated at 25 A AC-1 at 690 V up to 60°C, with a conventional free-air thermal current of 35 A.
