ABB 1SBN010140R1040 – CA4-40E is a 4-pole front-mounted auxiliary contact block designed for use with compatible ABB AF contactors and contactor relays. It provides four instantaneous normally open auxiliary contacts (4NO) for control, signalling, electrical interlocking, PLC feedback and status-indication functions. The auxiliary circuit has a rated operational voltage range of 24–690 V, with a conventional free-air thermal current of 16 A at 40°C. Its rated insulation voltage is 690 V according to IEC 60947-5-1 and 600 V according to UL/CSA, with a rated impulse withstand voltage of 6 kV.
