ABB 1SAX111001R1105 E16DU-18.9 Electronic Overload Relay is an electronic motor-protection relay designed to protect three-phase motors against overload and phase-failure conditions. It has a wide adjustable current setting range of 5.7 A to 18.9 A, allowing the protection threshold to be matched accurately to the motor's rated operating current. One of its main advantages is the selectable Trip Class 10E, 20E or 30E, allowing the same relay to be used with motors having different starting times and starting characteristics. The relay is self-supplied, so no separate external control supply is required for its basic motor-protection function. The E16DU-18.9 includes one normally closed trip contact (1NC) and one normally open signaling contact (1NO).
