ABB 1SAM461000R1015 MO165-42 is a magnetic-only manual motor starter rated at 42 A and 22 kW at 400 V AC. It is intended for manual ON/OFF switching of motors and loads while providing fuse less short-circuit protection. ABB lists features including a built-in disconnect function, trip-free mechanism, clear ON/OFF/TRIP indication and a lockable rotary handle. Because the MO165-42 provides magnetic short-circuit protection only, a suitable thermal or electronic overload relay is required when complete motor overload protection is needed. ABB also supports auxiliary contacts, signaling contacts, shunt trips, undervoltage releases, busbars and power in-feed accessories.
