ABB 1SAM461000R1012 MO165-20 is a 20 A magnetic-only manual motor starter intended for manual switching and fuse less short-circuit protection of motors and electrical loads. ABB specifies 7.5 kW operational power at 400 V AC, 100 kA Ics at 400 V AC, and an instantaneous short-circuit trip setting of 300 A. The MO165-20 features a disconnect function, trip-free mechanism, clear ON/OFF/TRIP indication and a lockable rotary handle. Since it provides short-circuit protection only, ABB specifies using an appropriate thermal or electronic overload relay when motor overload protection is required.
