ABB 1SAM360000R1009 MO132-6.3 is a compact 45 mm wide magnetic-only manual motor starter designed for manual switching of motors and loads while providing reliable fuse less short-circuit protection. It has a rated operational current of 6.3 A, a rated motor power of 2.2 kW at 400 V AC, and an instantaneous short-circuit current setting of approximately 78.8 A. ABB specifies a rated service short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 400 V AC for this model. The MO132-6.3 includes a built-in disconnect function, trip-free mechanism and lockable rotary handle. Because it is a magnetic-only device, a suitable thermal or electronic overload relay should be used where overload protection is required.
