ABB 1SAM360000R1006 MO132-1.6 is a compact 45 mm wide magnetic-only manual motor starter designed for manual switching of motors and electrical loads while providing reliable fuse less short-circuit protection. It has a rated operational current of 1.6 A and corresponds to approximately 0.55 kW motor rating at 400–415 V AC. ABB specifies a short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 400 V AC for this model. The MO132-1.6 incorporates a built-in disconnect function, trip-free mechanism and lockable rotary operating handle with clear switch-position indication. Because this version provides magnetic short-circuit protection only, complete motor protection is achieved by combining it with a suitable thermal/electronic overload relay or motor controller.
