ABB 1SAM350000R1008 (MS132-4.0) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also commonly called a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for switching, isolation and protection of electric motors. It offers an adjustable thermal overload setting range of 2.5 to 4.0 A, with a rated operational current of 4 A and trip class 10. The device provides integrated protection against motor overload, short-circuit and phase-failure conditions. The MS132-4.0 features a compact 3-pole, 45 mm-wide construction, 690 V rated insulation voltage and screw-terminal connections. The MS132 range is known for its high short-circuit breaking capacity, with the lower-current variants offering up to approximately 100 kA at 400 V AC.
