ABB 1SAM350000R1007 (MS132-2.5) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also commonly known as a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for switching, isolation and protection of electric motors. It features an adjustable thermal overload setting range of 1.6 to 2.5 A, with a rated operational current of 2.5 A and trip class 10. The device provides integrated protection against motor overload, short circuits and phase-failure conditions. The MS132-2.5 uses a compact 3-pole, 45 mm-wide construction, 690 V rated insulation voltage and screw-terminal connections. Lower-current MS132 variants provide a very high short-circuit breaking capacity of up to approximately 100 kA at 400 V AC.
