ABB 1SAM350000R1006 (MS132-1.6) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also known as a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for manual switching, isolation and protection of electric motors. It has an adjustable thermal overload setting of 1.0 to 1.6 A and a rated operational current of 1.6 A. The MS132-1.6 provides protection against short circuits, overloads and phase failures. ABB specifies 100 kA rated service short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) at 400 V AC, trip class 10, and an instantaneous short-circuit setting of approximately 18.4 A. ABB’s MS132 selection table associates this model with approximately 0.55 kW rated motor power at 400 V.
