ABB 1SAM350000R1004 (MS132-0.63) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also commonly known as a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for manual motor switching, isolation and protection. It provides an adjustable thermal overload setting range of 0.40 to 0.63 A with a rated operational current of 0.63 A and trip class 10. The unit incorporates thermal overload and magnetic short-circuit protection and also provides protection against phase-failure conditions. The MS132-0.63 features a 3-pole, 45 mm-wide construction, 690 V rated insulation voltage, screw terminals and DIN-rail mounting. The lower-current MS132 variants provide a very high short-circuit breaking capacity of up to approximately 100 kA at 400 V AC. Typical applications include small motors, pumps, fans, OEM machinery, automation panels, machine tools and industrial control systems.
