ABB 1SAM350000R1003 (MS132-0.4) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also known as a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for manual motor switching, isolation and protection. It features an adjustable thermal overload setting range of 0.25 to 0.40 A and a rated operational current of 0.40 A. The MS132-0.4 provides protection against short circuits, overload and phase failure. ABB specifies a very high 100 kA rated service short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics) at 400 V AC and trip class 10. The device also incorporates a disconnect function, temperature compensation, trip-free mechanism and a lockable rotary handle with clear ON/OFF position indication. The unit uses a compact 45 mm-wide, 3-pole construction with screw terminals and is suitable for both single-phase and three-phase applications.
