ABB 1SAM350000R1002 (MS132-0.25) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also commonly called an MPCB, designed for manual switching, isolation and protection of electric motors. It features an adjustable thermal overload range of 0.16 to 0.25 A, with a rated operational current of 0.25 A and trip class 10. The MS132 series provides protection against motor overload, short circuits and phase-failure conditions, making it suitable for compact motor-control and automation applications. The device has a 3-pole design, 690 V rated insulation voltage, screw terminals, and a compact 45 mm width. A key advantage of the MS132 range is its very high short-circuit breaking capability, with approximately 100 kA service breaking capacity at 400 V AC for the lower-current variants.
