ABB 1SAM350000R1001 (MS132-0.16) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also commonly called a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for manually switching motors ON/OFF while providing reliable protection against short circuits, overloads and phase failures. The MS132-0.16 features an adjustable thermal current setting of 0.10 to 0.16 A, rated operational current of 0.16 A, and trip class 10. At 400 V AC, ABB specifies an exceptionally high 100 kA rated service short-circuit breaking capacity (Ics). The rated insulation voltage is 690 V, and the device uses screw terminals in a compact 45 mm-wide housing. ABB selection data associates this model with approximately 0.03 kW motor power at 415 V.
