ABB 1SAM250000R1014 (MS116-25) is a compact Manual Motor Starter (MMS), also known as a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker (MPCB), designed for manual switching, isolation and reliable motor protection. It features an adjustable thermal overload range of 20 to 25 A, a rated operational current of 25 A, and trip class 10A. The MS116-25 protects motors against overload, short-circuit and phase-failure conditions. Its magnetic short-circuit release is rated at approximately 375 A. At 400 V AC, the unit provides 10 kA rated service breaking capacity (Ics) and 16 kA rated ultimate breaking capacity (Icu). The device uses a compact 45 mm-wide, 3-pole construction, screw terminals and DIN-rail mounting. It is suitable for motor applications up to approximately 12.5 kW, depending on supply voltage and motor characteristics.
