The ABB OVR T1-T2 3N 12.5-440s P QS (2CTB815710R4800) is a combined Type 1 and Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical distribution systems against lightning currents and transient overvoltage's caused by lightning or switching operations. It is suitable for three-phase, four-wire systems with neutral and is compatible with ABB's System pro M compact product range. Tested in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-11, the device provides a lightning impulse current rating of 12.5 kA per protected pole, a maximum discharge current of 80 kA, and a nominal discharge current of 20 kA. Its 440 V maximum continuous operating voltage makes it suitable for specified higher-voltage distribution applications, subject to the system earthing arrangement and manufacturer installation requirements. The device incorporates a reserve-varistor design that maintains a basic level of surge protection at the end of the primary varistor's service life until replacement is performed. It is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting.
