The ABB OVR T1-T2 3N 12.5-440s P TS QS (2CTB815710R3600) is a combined Type 1 and Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations against lightning currents and transient overvoltage's. Tested in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-11, it is suitable for three-phase, four-wire electrical distribution systems with neutral, including compatible TT and TN-S earthing arrangements. The device has a rated system voltage of 400/690 V AC, a maximum continuous operating voltage of 440 V AC, a lightning impulse current rating of 12.5 kA per protected path (10/350 μs), and a maximum discharge current of 80 kA (8/20 μs). Its Quick Safe design incorporates a reserve-varistor feature that maintains basic surge protection at the end of the primary varistor's service life until the device is replaced. The device is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting and includes an optional auxiliary signaling contact feature associated with the TS version for remote monitoring of its operating status. It is suitable for use in main and sub-distribution boards in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
