ABB OVR T2 3N 80-440s P TS QS is a Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations against transient overvoltage's caused by indirect lightning effects and switching operations. It is suitable for three-phase electrical distribution systems with neutral and is tested in accordance with IEC/EN 61643-11. The device features Quick Safe (QS) thermal disconnection technology, replaceable plug-in protection modules, a mechanical status indicator and an auxiliary potential-free signaling contact for remote indication of device status. Its reserve-varistor technology provides basic residual protection at the end of the main varistor's service life until the surge protective device is replaced. The unit is designed for DIN-rail mounting in compatible electrical distribution boards and is suitable for TT and TN-S systems.
