The ABB OVR T2 1N 80-275s P QS (2CTB815708R1400) is a Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations and connected equipment against transient overvoltages caused by indirect lightning effects and switching operations. It is suitable for 230/400 V AC electrical distribution systems with TT and TN-S earthing arrangements and is compatible with ABB System pro M compact modular equipment.

The device features a 1P+N configuration with two protected poles, a maximum continuous operating voltage of 275 V AC, a nominal discharge current of 20 kA and a maximum discharge current of 80 kA (8/20 μs waveform). Its plug-in cartridge design simplifies maintenance and replacement. The integrated reserve-varistor technology helps maintain basic surge protection if the primary varistor reaches the end of its service life, until the surge protective device is replaced. It is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting in suitable electrical distribution enclosures.
