The ABB OVR T2 1N 80-275s P TS QS (2CTB815708R0200) is a Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations and connected equipment against transient overvoltages caused by indirect lightning strikes and switching operations. It is suitable for 230/400 V AC distribution systems with TT and TN-S earthing arrangements and is compatible with ABB System pro M compact modular equipment.

The device features a 1P+N configuration, a maximum continuous operating voltage of 275 V AC, a nominal discharge current of 20 kA and a maximum discharge current of 80 kA (8/20 μs waveform). It incorporates an auxiliary signaling contact (TS) for remote monitoring of its operating status and a plug-in cartridge design for convenient maintenance. Its reserve-varistor technology helps maintain basic surge protection if the primary varistor reaches the end of its service life, until the device is replaced. It is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting in electrical distribution enclosures.
