The ABB OVR T2 3N 40-440s P TS QS is a Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations and sensitive equipment against transient overvoltage's caused by indirect lightning strikes and switching operations. This four-pole, plug-in device is suitable for three-phase electrical distribution systems with neutral and supports TT and TN-S earthing systems. It provides surge protection with a maximum discharge current of 40 kA (8/20 µs waveform) and a voltage protection level of 1.8 kV according to the product datasheet. Its Quick Safe® technology, replaceable protection modules, mechanical status indicators, reserve-varistor design and TS auxiliary signaling contact support reliable protection and monitoring. The device is designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting and complies with IEC 61643-11 / EN 61643-11.
