The ABB OVR T2 3N 40-275s P QS (2CTB815704R2000) is a four-pole Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations and connected equipment against transient overvoltage's caused by indirect lightning effects and switching operations. It is suitable for three-phase 230/400 V AC distribution systems with TT and TN-S earthing arrangements.

The device provides protection for three phases and neutral, with a maximum discharge current of 40 kA (8/20 μs waveform) and a voltage protection level of 1.4 kV. It incorporates ABB QuickSafe technology and a reserve-varistor design that helps maintain basic surge protection if the primary varistor reaches the end of its service life, until the device is replaced. The plug-in construction supports cartridge replacement and convenient maintenance. Designed for 35 mm DIN-rail mounting, it is suitable for main and sub-distribution boards in residential, commercial and industrial installations.
