The ABB OVR T2 3N 40-275s P TS QS (2CTB815704R0800) is a four-pole Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations and connected equipment against transient overvoltages caused by indirect lightning effects and switching operations. It is suitable for three-phase 230/400 V AC electrical distribution systems using TT and TN-S earthing arrangements.

The device provides protection for three phases and neutral, with a maximum continuous operating voltage of 275 V AC (L–PE), a nominal discharge current of 20 kA and a maximum discharge current of 40 kA per specified discharge path (8/20 μs waveform). It incorporates Quick Safe technology, a reserve-varistor design and an auxiliary signaling contact (TS) for remote indication of operating status.
