The ABB OVR T2 1N 40-275s P TS QS (2CTB815704R0200) is a Type 2 surge protective device designed to protect low-voltage electrical installations and connected equipment against transient overvoltage's caused by indirect lightning strikes and switching operations. It is compatible with ABB System pro M compact modular equipment and is suitable for 230/400 V AC distribution systems using TT and TN-S earthing arrangements.

The device features a 1P+N configuration, a maximum continuous operating voltage of 275 V AC, a nominal discharge current of 20 kA and a maximum discharge current of 40 kA (8/20 μs waveform). Its plug-in cartridge design facilitates maintenance and replacement. The integrated TS auxiliary signaling contact enables remote monitoring of the device's operating status. The reserve-varistor technology helps maintain basic surge protection when the primary varistor reaches the end of its service life, until the device can be replaced.
