The ABB TL1 POLE Twilight Switch (2CSM229911R1341) is an automatic light-sensitive switch designed for pole or wall mounting to control outdoor lighting according to ambient light levels. It switches connected lighting circuits ON at dusk and OFF when daylight returns, helping reduce energy consumption and eliminate the need for manual operation.

The device features an integrated light sensor with an adjustable switching threshold of 2–200 lux, a switching delay to prevent unwanted operation caused by temporary changes in illumination, and a robust weather-resistant enclosure suitable for outdoor installations. Operating from a 110–230 V AC supply, it is designed for applications such as street lighting, roads, gardens, parking areas, courtyards and building exteriors.
