The ABB SB201-C32DC is a single-pole, 32 A miniature circuit breaker from the System pro M compact SB200 DC series. It is designed to provide protection and control for compatible direct-current (DC) electrical circuits against overloads and short circuits. The breaker uses a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromagnetic tripping mechanism for short-circuit protection. Its C-type tripping characteristic is intended for suitable resistive and inductive loads with relatively low inrush current. With a rated voltage of 250 V and a rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6 kA, this compact protective device is suitable for appropriately designed residential, commercial and industrial DC installations.
