The ABB M1M 20B-02 Modbus is a digital panel-mounted power meter designed for accurate monitoring of electrical systems in industrial and commercial installations. It measures electrical power and energy parameters and supports total harmonic distortion (THD) and four-quadrant import/export energy measurement. These capabilities make it suitable for applications such as power-factor management, energy monitoring, and monitoring installations with local power generation.

The meter supports Modbus RTU communication over an RS-485 interface, allowing measured data to be integrated with PLCs, SCADA systems and energy-management platforms. It also includes one digital output for pulse signalling. Its Class 0.2 accuracy rating makes it the highest-accuracy version in the ABB M1M 20B family discussed here.
