ABB 1SFL607102R1100 – AF370-40-00-11 is a heavy-duty 4-pole AF series power contactor designed for motor starting, isolation, bypass and high-current power-distribution applications. It features four normally open main poles (4NO) and is suited to demanding MCC, switchboard, machinery and industrial control-panel installations.

The AF370 has a rated operational current of 370 A under AC-3 duty at 380–440 V. ABB specifies an AC-3 motor power rating of approximately 200 kW at 380–400 V, 415 V and 440 V. At 220–240 V, the corresponding motor rating is approximately 110 kW.

For AC-1 resistive or slightly inductive switching applications, the contactor is rated up to 525 A at 690 V and 40°C. ABB also specifies AC-1 ratings of 425 A at 690 V/60°C and 350 A at 690 V/70°C, depending on ambient temperature. Its conventional free-air thermal current is 525 A. The main circuit is rated for operation up to 1000 V IEC, with an insulation voltage of 1000 V according to IEC and 600 V according to UL/CSA. It uses bar-type main terminals for high-current cable or busbar connections. This particular -00 version is supplied with 0 NO + 0 NC auxiliary contacts.
