ABB SACE Tmax XT5H 400 MA 400-5200 Circuit Breaker (400A, 3-Pole, Motor Protection)

Ensure reliable and precise short-circuit protection for your motor circuits with the ABB SACE Tmax XT5H 400 MA. This heavy-duty 3-pole Molded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) is rated at the maximum frame capacity of 400A and features a MA (Magnetic Only) trip unit, specifically designed for motor protection applications.

Unlike standard breakers, the MA trip unit provides only magnetic (instantaneous) short-circuit protection, with a fully adjustable setting range of 2800A to 5200A. This allows you to fine-tune the trip threshold to match your motor's specific inrush current, preventing nuisance tripping during startup. Overload protection is provided separately by a thermal overload relay in the motor starter assembly.

Built on the robust XT5H 400 frame, this breaker offers a high breaking capacity (100 kA at 220/230/240 V AC) and excellent durability with 20,000 mechanical cycles and 7,000 electrical cycles. It supports operational voltages up to 690 V AC and 750 V DC, making it versatile for a wide range of industrial applications.
